HAITI/LAFOND. It is our aim at Cap Anamur to hand over our projects to local employees sooner or later. This was achieved in Haiti where we administered emergency relief after the earthquake in 2010 and helped with reconstruction. Amongst other things, we were able to rebuild two schools.
However, even after the completion of a project and our departure from the country, our projects are not left entirely to their own devices. Indeed, we recently received a call for help from the school in LaFond. Bad storms had damaged the roof and the school’s director asked for our support. Our technician, Rene Lefebvre, paid a visit to the school at short notice and rebuilt the destroyed roof. Now lessons can go on as usual.
